The major mixed-use development expands the precinct’s retail, residential and commercial offering while strengthening the connections between the established shopping centre, Perich Park and the civic precinct. Together, these elements create a new destination for residents, workers and visitors within the rapidly evolving community.
At the centre of the development is a new 1,000m² Town Square, framed by restaurants, retail tenancies and landscaped pedestrian spaces. The square extends the public realm of Perich Park and creates an important east-west connection between Podium Way and Central Avenue. Generous planting, large-canopy trees, integrated seating and weather protection establish a comfortable and adaptable setting for outdoor dining, markets, events and everyday gathering.
The retail podium extends the existing shopping centre arcade and introduces more than 17,000m² of new retail space, including a discount department store, two mini-major tenancies, specialty retail and food offerings. Above the podium, four distinct buildings accommodate residential apartments, Serviced Apartments and contemporary commercial workplaces, creating an active precinct throughout the day and evening.
The architecture responds to each of the site’s different streets and public spaces. A sculpted residential tower addresses Perich Park and Central Avenue, with curved balcony edges, horizontal bands and landscaped communal spaces shaping a softer residential identity. A lower Serviced Apartment building defines the Town Square and Podium Way, while two commercial buildings create strong street edges and mark the development’s prominent corners. Together, the buildings form a cohesive urban composition while maintaining clearly identifiable residential, commercial and civic addresses.
