Rozelle NSW
A Dramatic Location for a Key Marine Facility
The scheme builds upon the maritime traditions of Rozelle Bay with modern, conscientious design which ultimately provides a base for a successful business while supporting a working harbour at Sydne's centre.

The Sydney City Marine in Rozelle Bay is located directly below the Anzac Bridge, creating a striking element within the site. The marina's slipway, which are the facilities used to remove vessels from the water for repairs, caters to vessels more than 100ft long, so safety, security and technical know-how were integral to this project’s success.

The two main buildings are connected and situated adjacent to a hard stand area and piers/pontoons where the majority of the boat maintenance take place.

In response to the imposing drama of the ANZAC Bridge, we set the marina’s service facilities below the bridge’s deck level. This helped ensure the marine facility connected with the surrounding harbour infrastructure and with the bridge above. Careful process planning helped determine the layout of the new facility.
