Studio.SC has been engaged by the Tulich Family to design and develop a 196 dwellings retirement living project in the rapidly growing Oran Park town Centre. This project is about fostering a lifetime of lifestyle experiences, that is equally focused on the quality of the dwellings and the common spaces, through an overarching lens of hospitality and wellness. It is expressed both in the bult form outcomes, the hospitality led experiences within, and the operational and support overlay. In essence it is about creating community architecture, that allows the residents to connect out to their neighbourhood, connect within and draw in the broader public through the richness of a mixed-use retail offer that permeates the ground plane.
The project will be the first vertical retirement village in Oran Park, providing broad diversity of housing choice for aging residents. The design of the building anchors the town centre and creates a layered series of landscaped rooftop experiences, balancing communal public areas with private outdoor spaces. Materials are grounded in place, and passive design principles support sustainability, comfort and longevity.
It's a place to connect, adapt and belong- a building designed to age in place, just like its community.
