It is with great pride to share that our New Entrance and Parade Ground at the Australian War Memorial has been recognised with four awards at the 2025 Australian Institue of Architects - ACT Chapter awards held on Saturday night in Canberra:

Heritage Architecture - The J S Murdoch Award
Interior Architecture - The W. Hayward Morris Award
Public Architecture – Award
The Robert Foster Prize for Light in Architecture

“The pursuit of excellence is rarely a straight path - it’s a challenge of persistence, passion, and belief in the work we do. To have that journey recognised by our peers, and among such extraordinary company, is incredibly humbling. We’re all absolutely elated" Director Nicholas Bandounas

Congratulations to our client Australian War Memorial for their support and vision, Kane Constructions who delivered the project with great care, craftsmanship and collaboration, and the long list of contributors who made this possible. Thank you to the core Studio.SC team, Edward Salib, Ornella Bucceri, Emma Leckie, Doug Southwell and Nicholas Bandounas, and to everyone else who played a part.
