This concept symbolises the convergence of diverse elements —just as many rivers join to form the vast ocean, so too do various aspects of life, culture, nature, and generations come together to create a rich and unified tapestry.
It reflects the idea that different influences—whether they are from architecture, commerce, culture, or nature—can merge harmoniously, contributing to something greater, much like the layers of Chinatown and Haymarket’s history and vibrancy.
It’s a fitting metaphor for the intersection of traditions, modernity, and community at 700 George Street, where each element—living, staying, dining, and entertaining —plays a part in creating a thriving, dynamic whole.
Inside, the residential, hotel, and hospitality offerings flow seamlessly across interconnected spaces that offer varied, elevated experiences. The design weaves together living, staying, dining, and entertainment zones, providing a both a dynamic retreat and cultural hub that connects guests and residents with Haymarket’s energetic, multicultural environment.
The building gestures to the prominent corner arrival and public domain, improving vistas and solar access to key heritage items. These moves are layered with expressive facade treatments that amplify the site’s unique qualities, creating a vision distinct to its place.
