Taking advantage of the large expansive site, the tower massing sits along the Oxford Street frontage, creating a street wall character that aligns with the overall Epping Town Centre Masterplan, and leaves the rear area of the block unencumbered as private open space and ensuring abundant amenity for both the proposed and adjoining residential buildings and extensive open space amenity to the north.

The tower massing is expressed vertically, with bulk and scale reduced via the inclusion of deep ‘brise-soleil’ type recesses that define three distinct vertical massing forms on all four elevations. These forms are further broken down by horizontal articulation breaks, giving the effect of a series of vertically stacked boxes.

Once completed, Cielo will be the tallest tower in Epping, taking advantage of expansive views over parklands and the Sydney CBD.
